The son of Dr. Kevin and Mary Bjordahl, Dr. Travis Bjordahl grew up in Webster and Milbank, SD, and graduated from Milbank High School in 2003. Thereafter, he attended North Dakota State University and graduated with a B.S.in Chemistry. While at NDSU, he worked as a Student Lab Researcher in two different chemistry labs, which sparked his interest in dentistry. Upon graduation, he worked for one year at Biolife Plasma Services and then moved to Vermillion, where he received his M.A. in Biology. During his tenure in Vermillion, Travis was a Research Associate at the Sanford School of Medicine, working in a cardiac biology lab studying heart disease. Additionally, while in Vermillion, Dr. Travis was a volunteer EMT for the Vermillion EMS Ambulance. Dr. Bjordahl graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry on May 13, 2016, and began his practice as an Associate with Dr. Mark Bierschbach on June 13, 2016.

Dr. Travis’s leisure activities, include:
- Music: Plays the guitar and played in a band in high school and while at NDSU.

Dr. Travis is married to Emily (Adelman) and they are the parents of one-year-old Jonathan.
